A party that denies citizens their constitutional right to vote is a party that deserves to lose. That’s the Republican Party today.

The party of Lincoln and TR has become the party of Block the Vote: Voter-suppression laws. Cutting back early voting. No same-day voter registration. Elections boards that twist the laws to suit partisan purposes. And now a deliberate effort to confuse voters about their registration.

Republicans claim they’re protecting us from voter fraud. But it looks like Republicans are the ones guilty of voter fraud.

That latest outrage comes from the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, the Koch-funded ruling wing of the North Carolina Republican Party. The N&O reported: “Hundreds of North Carolinians – and one cat – have received incorrect voter registration information, according to the NC State Board of Elections.”

One of the most shameful chapters of North Carolina history was the Democratic Party’s violent suppression of black votes at the turn of the 20th Century. That still lives in infamy today. How long will the Republican Party carry this shame?

C’mon, Gary. Amanda Albright at the N&O wrote that…it’s not the News & Observer that said that. We’re a bit more educated here than to fall for the B.S. saying a newspaper said something when it was an opinion writer that was published by a newspaper that said it. Sheeesh…..that stuff might have worked back in your Hunt days, but not today (with the exception of your brain-dead radical liberal/progressive followers here, of course).

I hate it that in coming years North Carolina will be disallowing people that aren’t supposed to vote from actually voting. If it didn’t affect democrats so badly, you and your brethern wouldn’t be hollering so loud about laws that made sure that only people that should be voting are actually the ones that do vote.

You’re only fooling those that haven’t got a clue in the first place.

This one is so funny. I know you gotta carry the water for the Democrat Party, but this rant sounds like The Right Reverend Al Sharpton. It’s almost like a Saturday Night Live skit. Do you think anyone really believes that bull. This week they caught Democrats in Texas signing up illegals to vote. No one is being denied the right to vote, that is no one who is a legal citizen.

Glad that those two sites were posted here on the TAP front page in a very timely manner even when others that post here can’t get their responses to Front Page posts shown in a timely manner. Okay, Okay….you and Carter own the site and can do whatever you want with it. But, when you guys get together and wonder why there are only a few of us that do participate here, you need to get a clue.
