Democrats want government to attack economic insecurity, ignorance, hunger, pollution, sickness, gun deaths, discrimination and lack of opportunity.

Republicans want government to attack people they don’t like. It’s a long list. You may be on it.

Democrats shouldn’t underestimate the power of rage in a mixed-up, shook-up world.

They also shouldn’t underestimate the power of a positive, optimistic, forward-looking vision that gives North Carolinians and Americans an alternative to the dark, dystopian rage of Trump-MAGA Republicans.
