Poor Rick Perry

Rick Perry is the Republican flavor of the month. He’s got it all: a record of bringing jobs to Texas, a direct line to God, money, hair, cowboy boots and support from every wing of the Republican Party, from the right wing to the extreme right wing to the off-the-edge-of-the-earth right wing.
But now he’s a dead man walking. Because Bob Harris and Luther Snyder have him in their sights.
I spent two years of my life – the Hunt-Helms Senate campaign – with Bob Harris gnawing on my leg every day. Harris is the legendary Helms/Congressional Club researcher who came up with “Where do you stand, Jim?”
The memory still hurts.
Snyder is one of the best online and social-media strategists around. And, I add with pride, he’s webmaster for this site.
Harris and Snyder have started an independent campaign, Keep Conservatives United, to “expose Texas Governor Rick Perry’s record.”
Warning to Governor Perry: whatever you’ve ever done that you don’t want everybody to know, they’ll find it. And get it out.
Duck.
