A TAPster follows up on the blog about many chiefs at the Department of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention:
“Look up the salaries of the executives. Look at the total payroll of those at the top level. The Department laid off the direct staff of those who serve juveniles, but many and most of those staff members at the executive level are ‘earning’ $100,000+ per year.”
As usual, I’m too lazy – and not paid enough here – to find out whether this is true. But if anyone knows the answer or knows somebody at the Department who might respond, I’m all ears.
