Media polls have Trump down ten, 14, 16 points – but my friends, with fixed certainty, tell me, You can’t trust media polls – they mean nothing. Yet even Fox News has Trump down ten. So is Trump sinking? Or are newspaper polls false signs?
Stumbling through a fog, going from website to website searching polls, I inadvertently spotted a troubling fact – that had nothing to do with a poll: Mitch McConnell’s National Republican Senate Committee is spending $2.7 million in Kansas… where no Republican has lost a Senate race in eighty-eight years.
Would Mitch McConnell be spending millions in cold hard cash in Kansas… if Trump wasn’t underwater?
That looks like a reliable sign.
