A Little Gunpowder

One thing’s for sure: If Dan Blue runs for Governor it’s going to make the Democratic Governor’s Primary a lot more interesting.
Interesting, first, because of mathematics. Because over 40% of the Democratic voters are African-Americans and Senator Blue would be the only African-American candidate.
Interesting, second, because of history. Because Obama proved (when he defeated Hillary) that a coalition of liberals and African-Americans is a potent combination in a Democratic Primary.
Interesting, third, because of chemistry. Because Lieutenant Governor Walter Dalton is as bland as vanilla and Bob Etheridge is a low key fence straddler. What the Democratic primary needs is a little gunpowder. And Dan Blue could provide it.
