A Twisted World

Democrats all over the media are saying it’s time for Biden to step aside.

David Axelrod said Biden ‘can’t beat father time…it’s likely he loses by a landslide.’

James Carville said ‘the jig is up’ – Biden can’t win.

The New York Times called on Biden to get out of the race.

Times columnist Maureen Dowd poked fun at Biden for saying ‘goodest job,’ pointing out ‘goodest’ isn’t a word.

Even megastar George Clooney said it’s time for Biden to step aside.

But politics is a twisted world.

Trump’s been calling Biden unhinged and decrepit for years – but now that voters agree with him Trump’s fallen oddly silent – he wants Biden to stay in the race for one reason: It helps him win.

And Democrats want Biden out for one reason: It helps them beat Trump.

That’s the one thing both sides care about: Winning the election.

But there’s one question hardly a soul mentions:  What happens if we run head-on into a crisis while we have a president sitting in a White House suffering from cognitive decline? You’d think both sides would be worried about that. But neither is.
