Nikki Haley is having a media moment.

The New York Times and Politico say she’s the rising Not-Trump Republican.

I’m torn here.

Given the threat Trump poses to democracy and the free world, I’m for anybody who can stop him.

But if Haley slays the Trump dragon, she’ll be a formidable opponent for President Biden – or any Democrat.

My dream scenario is Trump wins the nomination and takes the Republican Party down to defeat more devastating and decimating than Goldwater in 1964 and Nixon in 1974.

My nightmare is he wins the election and takes America down into a dystopian abyss.

I’ll put democracy ahead of the Democratic Party.
