Like her victory speech Election Night, which was needlessly nyah-nyah in tone. Or her statement last week about why she came to Governor Perdue’s inaugural festivities: “She ran a great race.”
No, Kay. The election was two months ago. The correct answer is: “Because it’s a historic day and she will be a great governor.”
Some of Hagan’s partisans bristle at suggestions that it was the DSCC’s money and ads – especially the rocking chair ads – that won for her, not her own campaign. But, in politics, when you start fooling yourself, you end up the fool.
