Running for Congress, to win the primary Kelly Daughtry spent millions out of her own pocket – but landed in a runoff.

In the blink of an eye reaching deeper into her pocket she blanketed the airwaves with ads, filled mailboxes with mailings, telling voters her opponent’s:

• A Never-Trumpster puppet bankrolled by Democrats,
• Worked for Obama and Biden,
• Committed voter fraud in five elections,
• And branded Brad Knott – North Carolina’s biggest phony.

To prove Knott had worked for Biden her campaign doctored a photo of Knott shaking hands with a police officer, took out the police officer, pasted Biden in his place, ending up with a photo showing Brad Knott shaking hands with Biden – who Knott’s never met.

These days politicians and political wizards see twisting facts to float lies as clever. That’s how politics works: Truth flies out the window as, patting themselves on the back, politicians grin.

Kelly’s campaign took a poll, boasted she had a ‘massive’ 19 point lead – got a surprise: Trump posted on Truth Social she gave campaign contributions to liberal Democrats, had posted on Facebook in 2012 she was voting for Obama, added she’s ‘no friend of MAGA.’ Trump endorsed Brad Knott.

Spinning tales landed her in a trap.
