It was THE story of Tuesday’s elections, but Wednesday night it took NBC 90 minutes to ask Republican presidential candidates about abortion.

Their answers were tortured, because Republicans know they’re in trouble on the issue.

But why didn’t NBC ask them sooner and push them harder?

Why is big media so oblivious to the power of the abortion issue?

Is it because men are in charge and just don’t get it?

Is there an aversion to talking about pregnancy, childbirth, women’s healthcare and the like?

If this blindness persists, the media will miss the mark in 2024, just like they did this year.

Don’t make that mistake, Democrats.

It’s your biggest weapon – nationally and in North Carolina.

It wasn’t on the ballot, but it energized women and young voters who ran, organized and won in municipal races across the state this year.

They’re mad that the legislature passed a 12-week abortion ban.

Republicans will pass a total ban if they can.

The more Democrats tell voters the truth, the more they’ll win.
