Bad Move, Bad Excuse

This is why Governor Perdue has problems.
She is one of six Democratic governors who didn’t sign a letter supporting health-care reform.
That makes Democrats mad.
But her spokesperson says Perdue agrees with the points made in the letter:
“She did not sign it, but wants to make it clear that she remains committed to working with the Obama administration on health-care reform.”
That makes Republicans mad.
Then the Governor says she has a good reason for not signing it: She was too busy with an economic development trip to New York City
That makes Democrats, Republicans and everybody else laugh.
Or shake their heads in dismay.
