A Price?
Before the election, looking from Trump to Harris, a lot of my friends without hesitation thought, Trump, amen. Trump fit their political world – he’d avoid foreign wars, cure the economy
But hardly a soul asked, ‘What’s more important in a president: Politics or Character?’ Sitting in the White House, how does a president’s character impact our values, what we see as right or wrong?
The other day, on Truth Social, Trump endorsed Mike Johnson for Speaker – good news for Johnson. But only 3 of 20 lines in Trump’s post were about Johnson.
He started out patting himself on the back for winning the magnificent and historic 2024 election by a landslide with EASE, CALM & PROFESSIONALISM, a legendary flawless campaign.
He rapped Democrats for committing ‘large scale voter fraud’ and paying Beyonce $11 million and Oprah $2 million to endorse Harris – rumors born on social media.
So ask yourself: What happens to people who hear falsehoods and nod – does their character change? Do the gospels about vanity and falsehoods no longer matter?
