First, the School Board’s Administrators got a black eye from the press for buying land without getting appraisals. Then they got one from the County Commissioners for raising their own salaries. Now they’ve gotten one from the U.S. Department of Education. What do School Board Administrators have to say about their latest black eye? Well, not much. It’s all a technical glitch. No big deal. The Department of Education saying Wake County Schools are underperforming is nothing to really worry about.
