Gary - Randy never put anything on the NCDP AMEX gold card. It was on a different card - one which for some reason was tied to the credit of Tammy Brunner. Why the party has done things that way for years I do not know. Why people had to use their own credit card with the NCDP name embossed below it, and then get re-imbursed by the NCDP I do not know. Apparently Randy is trying to fix that.
Las Vegas is the perfect place to conduct business. Before you wrote this, did you ever see how many trade shows and conferences are held in Las Vegas? Here are some of them as listed on the following site - http://www.pcap.com/lvconv.htm

Or are you saying that there is no legitimate reason for ANY group to conduct business in Las Vegas?
Clearly you exaggerate - and for the effect of embarrassing Randy Voller.
You know the reason for the tax problem. Lots of businesses - especially in real estate - had similar problems. Randy owned up to it and didn't hide it. He admitted to it on his web site. Members of the SEC like me didn't hold it against him.
Randy said that Republicans were raping and pillaging the state. And they are doing just that. The women in the room had no problem with what he said in the context he used it in. If not for the efforts of one particular female Young Democrat who, like many of her fellow YDs, seems to hate Randy Voller from the get-go (even before he was elected) and "tweeted" his comments.
I know and have worked with Tammy Brunner, but like any ED interim or otherwise, they serve at the pleasure of the Chair. So if a Chair is asking the ED to do things, and the Chair isn't pleased with how things are being done, the Chair has the right to tell the ED their services are no longer required. Are you saying that Tammy is perfect and has never made a mistake? How many things does an employee have to do or screw up on that the boss doesn't like before something needs to be done?
For $1 a month. Which is not against the law or a violation of the NCDP Plan of Organization. The NCDP was already conducting a search for an ED to replace Tammy Brunner, and that search (run by someone other than Randy) was a month behind). So the work needed to be done - so Randy and others did it. What is your real beef with actually getting work done - unless you really object to your friends not getting the choice assignments?
Randy didn't hire a single consultant - he hired a fundraising firm led by Jim Neal. What is your problem with Jim Neal? And if Randy has rich friends who can help the NCDP raise lots of money, what's your problem with that?
Candidates like Barack Obama have long catered to rich moneybags to raise money, and Obama went to Law Vegas in September 2012 to raise money for this campaign.
If President Obama can raise money in Vegas and his campaign can write it off - why can't Randy Voller?
So clearly you and your friends have another problem with Randy Voller - what is it?
