That’s one less thing to worry about.

The Republican legislature has decided that the ocean will not eventually take over our little place at Nags Head.

Wait until I tell my brother-in-law that on the golf course this weekend.

He’s a Republican himself; after all, he did very well in the oil business as a PhD geologist. But he’s one of those science-based types.

In his retirement, he has been studying the rise of sea levels. He is concerned that, by the time his grandchildren’s children are grown, both his place and ours at the beach could be threatened by rising tides.

Now, thank goodness, the legislature has put a stop to that.

Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon, Gary? What do you think formed it? Mother Nature has her way and I know it's great politically to say that what she does is because of Humans, but, just SOOOO much of what we see in Mamma Earth today came WAY before humans drove cars or had industrial complexes and such.

The human affect on our environment and how Earth evolves is great political fodder, but it's b.s. Brings in a huge amount of money for those that present it, but, it's all a ruse. For every scientist that says humans are the culprit for our changing environment, there is an equal number of scientists that say that's bunk.

Evolution...you know, that thing progressives/liberals/radical far left dems are so adamant about includes the change in our enviornment. If you choose to wear blinders about the facts in this, then that's your choice.
