For anyone who thinks CNN is a serious news organization, I can't believe my eyes.  One of the hard news reporters for the network today interviewed rap singer, talker,  Jay-Zee.  You know I was going to vote for Mitt Romney, until I heard this interview with Jay-Zee.  What insight, and who else would I  need to hear from to make up my mind.  I always look to these economic giants like Jay-Zee and that other world class mind, 25 cent.  I am not sure what hedge funds to invest in and I am waiting for CNN to interview the last surviving member of the Doobie Brothers band for help. I will pass along any tips I may glean from that interview. Cnn will not stop at anything to prop up Obama.  Now that those members of the black race understand that CNN believes they will move on the words of that all powerful black scholar and leader Jay-Zee, I wonder, are there those out there within that race who feel talked down to.  Wonder why we never see a Walter Williams, or a Thomas Sowell in front of the CNN cameras.  Does CNN fear what a Dr. Williams, or Dr. Sowell might say to the black voters.  I guess the real problems is that Williams and Sowell don't see color in everything, but would tell CNN that the only color is green, and as long as the economy is in the toilet there aint a lot of green around. I don't mean to come down too hard on Mr. Jay-Zee, he is what he is, and he aint what black America needs to hear quotes from.   If Jay-Zee were real smart, he would be sending money to Mr. Romney, when black youth unemployment drops back to single digit, there are more buyers of his music.  Whatever the great one needs CNN will supply.

Just discussing black issues on a blog from a "conservative" point of view makes you a racist and/or bigot, so I'll try to tread lightly here.

I find it amazing that blacks in America continue to vote for and support the democratic party and democratic candidates. For decades and decades, democrats have promised to improve the plight of African Americans only to see little-to-no improvement for them. Black education is in the tank. Black crime is horrendous. Black unemplioyment is massive. Blacks make up the lion's share of the poor in this country. So, what is the attraction the democratic party has for blacks?

In almost every case when I make this point on various blogsites and in some of my daily conversations, the answer to to why blacks in America are in such bad shape is because whites (or more accurately white, republican, evangelical christians) have systematically kept them down. And, pro-democratic media like CNN continue to make that argument using every "fact" and "figure" they can twist and turn to prove it.

The key to many democratic successes is that they have been able to put in place a great many entitlements for our citizens so that they are beholden to the government for their everyday needs and, in many cases, entire way of life. They have made it very clear that if republicans get enough power in states and in Washington, much of that will be taken away and they will have to be responsible for making their own way, even though it will be difficult and they will have to struggle. It's genius, actually. It is working. And, as soon as a larger percentage of people in this country vote purely for economic "help" from government, we are doomed to see America no longer a nation of workers and innovators and occupied with people that become successful in their lives through making their way through their struggles and through personal responsibility and hard work and living their lives in the effort to be successful on their own. We're very close to that now, in my opinion. One more Obama term with a predominance of democrats in power across the country and we're going to move into an era we'll never be able to return from and I am very afraid for America. Very afraid, indeed.

You are correct, just to talk about race makes you a racist. The left won that years ago, we conceeded. When I wrote the above I wasn't even referring to race, but to a pop culture rapper. It could have been a white rapper. The point is What qualifies a rapper pop culture artist to know anything about politics. It's like me wanting to get a good lesson on baseball and asking a short order cook who works at an all night dinner. CNN has started a new show. I don't remember the name of it, but todays show was about how it is a good thing that you sell your house and lose 30% of it's value. A doctor interviewed said it takes away lots of expected anticipation and causes you to relax more. I guess next week's show is going to be " It's good to get hit by a truck". Come on, we are not stupid, I know why the show exsist, it's because they must lower the bar for Obama. If we have expectations of having a job, a home, and some chance of retirement, we can't vote for the Marxist Socialist. Lets make bad the new good.
